ONSA Plus Ads Module
ONSA Plus Ads Module is an internal software application developed and operated by ONSA Plus s.r.o. It is used by our own marketing and e-commerce staff to analyse and manage the Google Ads advertising campaigns that belong to ONSA Plus. The application is not a commercial product. It is not sold, licensed, or made available to customers, partners, or the general public.
Purpose of the application
ONSA Plus sells photovoltaic systems, energy storage, heat pumps, and EV charging equipment through online stores serving Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Germany. Google Ads is one of our main customer acquisition channels.
Standard advertising reports show revenue but not the cost of the goods sold. The Ads Module exists to close that gap. It retrieves performance data from our own Google Ads accounts and combines it with product cost, margin, and stock information from our internal systems, so that our staff can see the actual profitability of each campaign and each advertised product rather than revenue alone.
What the application does
- Retrieves campaign, ad group, keyword, search term, and product performance data from Google Ads accounts owned by ONSA Plus, on a daily schedule.
- Combines that data with product purchase prices and stock levels from our e-commerce platform and our ERP system to calculate contribution margin and true return on advertising spend.
- Highlights products that are being advertised at a negative margin, or advertised while out of stock.
- Allows authorised ONSA Plus staff to act on those findings by creating and managing campaigns, budgets, bids, negative keywords, and ad copy in our own Google Ads accounts.
- Retrieves keyword research data to estimate search demand before we launch advertising for a new product category or in a new market.
Who uses it
Access is limited to ONSA Plus employees and contracted staff, approximately five to eight people, through an authenticated internal administration system with role-based permissions. There is no public sign-up and no external user access of any kind.
Access to Google user data
The application uses Google OAuth 2.0 to request access to the Google Ads API (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope). Authorisation is granted only by ONSA Plus staff members who already have access to our Google Ads accounts, and it is used solely to read and manage advertising data belonging to ONSA Plus.
The application does not access, collect, or store personal data of website visitors, customers, or any other individuals through the Google Ads API. Data obtained from Google is stored on infrastructure controlled by ONSA Plus within the European Union, is used only for the internal purposes described above, and is never shared with, sold to, or made accessible to any third party.
