Duosida 16A charging cable Type 2 is designed for mode 3 charging, i.e. all charging from private and public AC stations. Both connectors are ergonomically shaped and the grip part is made of soft plastic, ensuring easy and comfortable handling and plugging in. While plugged in, the cord is protected against particle and water ingress. The protective caps have a higher protection rating of IP54 and allow protection against the ingress of dust.

The connectors of the charging cable are made of solid thermoplastic, which is flame retardant and scratch, pressure and impact resistant. The outer sheath of the cable is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPE-U), whose important properties include flexibility, long life and resistance to scratches and wear. Thanks to the high-quality materials, the cables can withstand more than 10,000 wiring cycles.

Thanks to the IEC 62196 communication protocol, the cable enables efficient communication between the on-board charger and the charging station.

When handling the cable, care should be taken to use protective caps whenever the cable is not plugged in, as they significantly increase its service life. When you have finished using the cable, it must be properly untangled. The cable should then be placed in the bag. This significantly (!) increases its lifespan.
