10-capacitor GPU Riser 012

Reliable version of the 012 with 10 capacitors for better stability and extraction efficiency. The Risers have a thick circuit board (PCB) which contributes to increased durability. Power supply of the risers is possible via molex or 1 PCI-e 6pin connector. Riser and x1 adapter have leds that indicate power, etc. It is used to connect the graphics card between the motherboard and the card itself.

 Each package includes:

• 012 10-capacitor PCI-E Riser
• PCI-E X1 Adapter
• SATA to PCI-E 6pin reducer

Why not use SATA to power the risers?

A standard riser can require up to 75W (not always) and a SATA connector is only capable of delivering a maximum of 54W, so you risk overheating or fire. The safest way is to connect the riser via PCI-E 6pin connector. A great method is to use splitters to power the card and the riser at the same time, but if you are dealing with cards that have high power consumption, it is best to use a separate cable (branch from the power supply) to connect multiple risers at the same time.
