Product detailed description

Key Features

The built-in display gives users easy access to details about the battery, inverter and solar charger. These parameters can also be accessed remotely via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect app. In addition, the inverter is equipped with a VE.Can port to seamlessly connect to the GX device for comprehensive system monitoring, along with a VE.Direct port to connect to the GlobalLink 520.

  • Off-grid Solar Inverter
The RS Smart Solar 48/6000 inverter is a 48V 6kVA inverter with a 450V DC 4kWp PV input. It is used in off-grid solar applications where AC power is required.
  • Combination of inverter, bidirectional DC-DC converter and MPPT
The inverter produces a perfect sine wave that can power high-power loads. It is powered by a bidirectional DC-DC converter that can either charge the battery when excess solar power is available, or convert from the battery when needed.
  • Wide MPPT voltage range
65 - 450 VDC, with 120 VDC PV starting voltage.
  • Lightweight, efficient and quiet
Thanks to high-frequency technology and a new design, this powerful inverter weighs only 11 kg. It also has excellent efficiency, low standby power and very quiet operation.
  • Display and Bluetooth
The display shows the parameters of the battery, inverter and solar charge controller.
The same parameters can be accessed using a smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device. In addition, Bluetooth can be used to configure the system and change settings using the VictronConnect app.
  • VE.Can and VE.Direct port
Connect VE.Can to the GX for system monitoring, data logging and remote firmware updates.
  • VE.Direct connection to the GlobalLink 520 for remote data monitoring.
  • Built-in PV isolator
The two parallel PV strings connected to the MC4 connectors can be safely isolated using the large built-in switch on the bottom of the unit.
  • I/O connections
Programmable relay, temperature sensor and voltage sensor connections. Remote input can also be configured to accept Victron smallBMS.
