    The Battery Balancer is designed to balance the state of charge of two 12 V batteries connected in series or multiple parallel strings of batteries connected in series. When the charging voltage of the 24 V battery system exceeds 27 V, the Battery Balancer is activated and compares the voltages of the two series-connected batteries. It draws up to 1 A of current from the battery (or batteries connected in parallel) with the highest voltage. This current difference ensures that all batteries converge to the same state of charge. Multiple balancers can be connected in parallel if necessary. Three battery balancers are recommended for balancing a 48 V battery bank.
